DOUBLE HAPPINESS "XI"

This is an interpretation of the Chinese character 囍 "Xi" that means Double Happiness. This character is typically associated with wedding celebrations as it symbolises two happy people together. The character is often pasted on the front door of the newly wedded couple's home as a blessing. This version of Double Happiness was created using lego tiles, letterpress printed on a vintage printing press and gold dust was applied to give the character a beautiful shiny gold lustre.
